Session 9: My blog experience

Hello friends! I came to talk about my blog experience. I really enjoyed writting here. I learnt and practice my english. I don’t like the English so much, but I’m trying.

I decided that learn english is one of my biggest challenge through all this time in this class, since I've never really try to learn. I've started writing songs in english in a notebook and try to read the lyrics to sing to improve my pronunciation. I don't have a perfect pronunciation now, but at least now I can try to pronounce something and don't want to cry everytime I don't know how to say it.

Without any doubt the blog helped me, I decide to make the entries alone, without the help of an online translator. And actually I did it!, its not perfect but I don't have to correct everytime a write.

That's why some entries might not be that understandable but I certainly did my best for the basic level I have. I think that listening, writing and repeating is the answer to eventually get used to english and understand what I read or hear.

Is very clear for me that I still have so much to learn! But at least now I have the will to overcome the shock that english causes me.

For future experiences with the other courses some things I would like to say about this class is that I would have prefer to write more about some themes I would like to write. I understand that you put the same theme to everyone to evaluate everyone with the same difficulty but maybe if we could write more about things we care about will motivate us more.


I hope this dont stop learning!

Session 8: My dreams

With my life I would do a lot of things. I really am not sure what my path after finishing university. I would like to study something else as linguistics or history. Sometimes I think that being a teacher is something I did not and I would have liked. But I really like the public service, I look not studying anything at this time, but certainly want to learn different things before you get started on this. Part of my dreams is to travel everywhere and for that I need a lot of money. But beyond all that what I have one dream I'd like to achieve: being a mom.

If I could study all you want definitely my life would change much, know about linguistics it is really something that I would love to do. Who knows what I'll do with it, but certainly I would try. But with a further exchange son! I certainly could not study any more!

What I do not like to think that's it for studying or to have a child a lot of money and family support, especially with my future son needed.

I have many dreams and things I like to do. But I think so far I'm doing it right! I think I'm right where I belong and that makes me very happy !!

Session 7: The favorite website

I enjoy visiting http://thepowerofopengov.tumblr.com/ because it has a lot of interesting sections about public administration. This Tumblr talks about de open government. The open government is a new paradigm about the administration, in this paradigm what is sought is a the open information for a new effective democracy for the country. The people have a the free access for the information about the process the public administration, government, and others. People should have free access to information on the process of the pubic admnistración, the government accounting.

On site various documents and files are published, congress and other information about the open government. Is an important site for the information about this topic. An example of the publication of the site is a infographics about the open governemet, highlighting the more importantes concepts about this: participation, collaboration and transparency

The autor of this site is Alvaro Ramirez Alujas, he is a the public administration and teacher in a EGYGP. He is founder, principal investigator and coordinator of Public Administration Research Group on Government Administration and Public Policies (GIGAPP) of the University Institute of Investigation Ortega and Gasset in Madrid, Spain.

Session 6: My favorite picture

Hello everybody! Today I going to upload my favorite picture. This picture was photographed with a special camera for me is called "Lomography Konstruktor". This camera is special because I built with a friend! It was a very entertaining activity.

Pictured is a small Chinchinero and is my favorite photo of the first roll I used with the camera. The day I walked captured walking down the center of Santiago and got to see the "chinchineros" and was there! It was very small. It was about 5 or 6 years and played very well his drum.

I have a special affection for the picture that came out very good, though a bit dark. I think the grace to use cameras where you do not know what you're shooting is the surprise by revealing the rolls. It's something that always gives you many surprises and keeps you waiting.

Definitely it is a photo that I really like, reminds me of a beautiful period of my life and that's why I wanted to share with you!

Session 4: Sport in Chile

The importance of sport is immense, and it isn’t only a health benefit that is obtained. In most of the poorest people in our country sport is a method to escape a reality that most of the time is quite distressing. Sport helps to make learning to relate to people, to work together, have fun and create new instances of encounter.

Unfortunately there is no real government support for the realization of sport in our country. No resources to promote the sport in vulnerable communities, and the few that there are not invested in the appropriate manner.

It has become a real necessity that the government doesn’t neglect investment in sport. With the creation of this new sports ministry should change. I think that make and promote the sport does well to many areas of our lives.

Session 3: My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology  is my smartphone. Since childhood I have cellphone, from about 10 years, and has always been very helpful to me, either to communicate with my parents, to play, or talk to friends. With new technologies and the advent of smart phones I cant separate my phone and that worries me!

Very often I use my phone for me is very important and I organize my life with him. Without my phone I could not wake up in the morning because it is my alarm clock too.

I would not use it much, but it is becoming a little more essential in my life. But I do not use it when I'm having lunch or with my family

My father doesnt like to use both my cell because he says makes me sick to look at, whenever I use it with the lights off also lages me.

Session 2: the new semester

This semester has been very rare, having first three days is something unexpected wow! I have several classes that I like, and others where I would like that I liked more for example English. I try to put a lot on my part to learn, but becomes really difficult to me.

This semester I have subjects focused on management, for example, administration and physical and technological resources (or Arft) and planning. These subjects I like a lot, but sometimes become a bit more tedious.

I really want to raise my grades because I want to go on an exchange and I need a good average for that. I have no extracurricular subjects but started working in the "Libre y gratis" in the radio Radio Universidad de Chile (102.5 FM) and is something I am very excited and expectant.
